Instant On is hard to beat. The only way my Valentine 1 would save me is if you triggered it on someone speeding in front of me… well before I got to the area, 1 mile or more. Recently in Big Pine,CA a CHP unit was in the middle of the highway blacked out at 2am and I was following behind someone that was doing 75,.. i didn’t know CHP was there, then suddenly BAM instant on KA! If I was speeding at the time i would have been meat sauce. Only if I was miles back that would have saved me..

I would say, no. Your always going to have that one person trying to run 20+ over the limit, using the car in front as cover / RD, etc.But really only a small % of people really speed with a RD, the others want to know where the Leo is.

This is so true, I keep it on even when I’m not speeding because I just want to test the range and know when I am coming up to a LEO.

True, same here i run my V1 about 99% of the time even when i have absolutely no intent on speeding. Hell sometimes i just get a kick out of a LEO poping cars over the top of a hill and the guys in front getting nailed. I see your brake lights but its too late buddy your locked in!!
