So the health care bill is now losing support……….?

06 May

I’m glad it’s losing support and I hope it fails…………….

Look, I’m pro-health care reform.
I really am.

but I just feel they went way out of line trying to FINE and IMPRISON people for refusing to buy health insurance.

I understand the argument, “If everyone has insurance, it will save money in the long run.”
But that still doesn’t change the principle; It should be a consumer’s right to choose.
People shouldn’t be forced against their will to purchase things.

If you compare this to auto-insurance……….
there’s a difference:
1. You only have to buy it if you DRIVE. Don’t like it? Then don’t drive.
2. You are only required to cover the car you hit, not your own car.

That whole “save money in the long run” is bs anyway. How exactly can paying for health insurance for every American save money. It will just pile on more debt.

Too bad the Left won’t allow tort reform, or buying across state lines to make insurance more affordable.

Think if most people didn’t have auto insurance and someone it you that didn’t have it, who pays to fix your car? You. Same with health insurance, so many people w/out that use the ER as their primary care giver that make are premiums increase year after year, we foot the bill for those. What 0bama is trying to force upon us is BS, all for fixing heath care but not like this. I hope this bill goes the way of the dinosaur.

theres too much to it for me to explain. be very affraid of what they are trying to do with health care right now. everyone having health insurance wouldnt save money unless they bought it themselves. all of the government run systems are over budget and rapidly going broke. they dont want to reform the existing framework to make budget or even cover all the uninsured. many senators, congressman, and even the president have stated their purpose. its not to make it more accessable or cheaper or any of the crap they try to sell this bill accomplishes none of the sales pitch stated goals. it in fact does the opposite. what they are doing ( if you look you can find it in their own words, obamas statement is pretty easy to find) they are trying to establish a framework that will over time put private insurance mostly out of business so that americans have no choice but to rely on the government for health care coverage. obama says it may take 10-20 years to eliminate employer coverage all together.

that is what they are shooting for. your so right putting people in jail for this is CRAZY. and hopefully every bit as unconstitutional as it sounds. either way the plan is not to improve your health care its to take control of a giant peice of the US economy. i heard that between tarp the bailouts the auto companies and health care and all that they already did that would put the government in charge of over 50% of the US economy. scary!!!

its a big fast power grab while they still have the votes to do it they will be creating crisis after crisis and taking every bit of control they can. it is sad but it is no time to trust the ententions of our government.

if they control health care guess what else they control. YOUR BODY! you will be a line on the budget and your actions will become cost saving measures mandated be the FEDs. people you will never meet will decide much more than they have the right to about how you live. so i would say no its not quite like car insurance.

I agree with you, but if everybody had Medicare or Medicaid, the issue of sanctions wouldn’t come up, because the moneys could come out of peoples checks like FICA. Poor or low income people would not have to pay.
