should i 1)find someone else to take over the payments, 2)have it for a year, make payments on time and refinance at a lower interest rate. my credit was not that great and its a lot easier to get financed for a new car compared to a used car. I had to get a relative to co sign. the only reason why i want the used car is cause the insurance is so much cheaper

for some reason, I’d pay any tax to fund socialized medicine thrown my way rather than pay $13,375 a year for a family of four. and you’d be crazy not to yourself.
and besides…the tax would never be 4,824, which is the average a single person pays per year.

I would think that this would greatly impact on what your car insurance costs if you are more likely to be involved in an accident with an ininsured illegal immigrant. Is this the case?
Well, I live in Canada and I know our car insurance rates are already through the roof and I am sure if we had the illegal immigrants here that you do, that would definitely have a huge impact on the cost of car insurance.
I think the insurance companies would soon figure out areas with high numbers of illegal immigrants based on the number of claims they are getting where accidents are proven to be caused by illegal immigrants who do not have drivers licenses and insurance/registration. These claims will cost the insurance companies more and so they will have to increase the costs to the purchasers of insurance.

I’m an older driver now but remember what a nightmare it was to get insurance. Extremely over priced compared to a new driver of an older age. I know its about statistics but how can you judge what a drivers like before they’ve even started driving on their own.

After a quick browse on the nest I found that similar conditions and parameters when applied to Germany, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands produce quotes that are at least half to a maximum of 70% less.
Also, continental insurers are not asking too many questions. I was never asked about, where I park the car, if it has a tracking device, if there’s CCTV in the area or what brand the alarm system was.
Does anyone know why these UK premiums end up so much more expensive? (The one reason I can imagine, is that insurance gets much less exposure in advertising in those European copuntries compared to UK).
Any answers appreciated.
