My friend got his car hit by another while it is stopped and then he has called the incurance. A guy has came to examine the car and has estimated a value of USD 360. And have told my fried that the insurance company will give more money if the repair takes more than the estimate. And after that my friend got a quotation for the repair from the agent of the manufature of the car. They have stated that the repair to do with replacement parts will take 1500 USD.
But now the insurance company refuse to pay more than the estimated value.
Is there any legal action to take to get the needed value to recover the car?
