i want to get a bmw as my first car, i can afford the car, insurance, taxes all that junk but what i dont no about are the service costs?

My fiance’ and i are planning to try for a baby in a few months time..so excited but he is worried about finances! I know we arent doing it hard compared to alot of people so it fustrates me that he is so worried. I currently work full time and earn about $35,000 AU. a year (after tax) but when bubs comes i probably will quit work so lets base it on one income only.
So my fiance earns about $60,000 AU a year. We have a mortgage which repayments work out to be $24,000 AU a year. All our bills incuding our house & contents insurance, car insurance, council rates and food shopping are approx $18,000 AU a year. So that adds up to $42,000 AU per year in bills, food & mortgage but thats excluding actual repayment money off the mortgage (the 24k covers the interest only) So that leaves $18,000 AU – is that enough to cover all the costs of raising a baby? Like medical, food, play equipment and nappies? I plan to breastfeed. Can anyone tell me how much on average per year or per week or per month it costs to raise a baby for the first few years whilst in nappies?? In Australian dollars would be great if you can, but if not any advice would be great.
In australia i know we get the baby bonus which is $5000 and paid in installments i believe thats a once of payment though. I’m unsure if we will be eligable for the family tax benift though??

So I saw this gt for 72 grand not bad compared to other Bentley’s and I was just curious as to how much insurance cost’s on a car like that?
While I’m at it, is it hard to qualify for a car that expensive, do dealers hesitate to give out loans that high? because typically dealers are generous and will find ways to qualify you, does this apply here too? or is it more like the process of buying a home?

I would like to know what a typical premium is for term life insurance? I’m in a situation where if i die, there will be people that may struggle financially. I know there are many variables but just based on typical scenarios? I’m 30, healthy and i would think $500K would be enough to handle the bills if i wasn’t around… I know i won’t get it until i know it’s very necessary and I plan to do more research but just curious.

I am simply looking for a good estimate in the percent increase of my auto insurance premium givin these circumstances. I am with allstate and I live in Louisiana. Car accident-how much will my insurance premium go up?

I was in a car accident today, driving the speed limit at about 30 miles per hour in a residential neighboorhood, not paying attention and struck the car to the left of me, damaging the driver’s door of my car and the other car’s passenger door. He was driving his company’s truck. I already have an accident on my record from 1/06 that was my fault (not a huge accident, but not a super minor one, no injuries). Today’s accident caused no injuries. I can tell my car door and the front bumper will need replacing. I assume that the other car needs the passenger door replaced. My annual insurance premium is $3,240, but last month a traffic ticket just came off my record. My car is a four door 2004 Honda & I am a 42 year old female who lives in Fremont, CA. I’m fearful my monthly car insurance payment will go up a lot! Does anyone know how much it will go up? Thank you so much!
